This lesson gives you two complementary tools: a mind map for the overall structure, and reading cards for chapter-level detail. Used together, one careful read becomes long-term reusable material.
Pain point: you forget the book as soon as you finish it
You finish a book and forget it, or you try to make a mind map yourself but quit after one chapter. This lesson solves both:
Method 1: AI mind map
Let AI pull the full chapter outline, then drop it into a mind-map tool to grasp the structure.
Method 2: Reading cards
Use a Skill to break each chapter into knowledge cards so a full-book review takes one card pass.
Method 1: AI mind map
- Ask AI to fetch the full outline of the book.
- Have it output Markdown.
- Paste the Markdown into a mind-map site such as markmap to render it instantly.
- You can keep editing nodes afterward.
Best for: people who already have a preferred mind-map tool, or who want the outline as plain text first.
- Open a Feishu canvas and describe the request directly.
- Feishu AI searches book information and content framework automatically.
- The mind map is generated on the canvas, ready for edits.
- Search, generate, and refine — all happen on the same canvas, no platform switching.
Advantage: the built-in AI keeps the whole flow on one canvas, simpler than Approach A.
Method 2: Reading cards for a book
Mind maps cover structure, knowledge cards cover detail. They work best together.
